A System One model like Jev is an AI model that only responds in structured data like JSON data. It is so named after the idea proposed in the book “Thinking Fast and Slow” by Daniel Kahneman. In the book Mr. Kahneman describes two systems of thinking – the first – System One – is the “Thinking Fast” idea from the title. System One is more instinctual. More immediate and reflexive. System Two thinking is slow, deliberate thinking.
An AI model that is a “System One” model means that it thinks quickly and returns short answers. In this case, Jev returns structured data. That data can be Nuel data where you ask basically a yes or no question like “Is a hotdog a sandwich” and the System One AI will return a simple number answer related to it’s analysis of the truthfulness of that statement. In this case, Jev responds that it is 77% likely that a hotdog is a sandwich.
